Why is My Watch 6 with LTE Draining Battery So Quickly?

:2024-07-16:636:Is Using a Watch 6 with LTE as a Standalone Phone Draining the Battery Faster?
I recently got a Watch 6 with LTE, and the battery is draining extremely fast. Without any usage, just wearing it on my wrist, it dies within 7 to 8 hours. I already have Power Saving Mode on. Any tips or suggestions?

The battery life largely depends on how the watch is used. If it's paired to a phone, the watch acts as an extension of that phone. Phone calls on the watch actually happen through the phone, and you can control them from the watch. These watches are designed to be paired with a phone via Bluetooth, which uses minimal power.

If you intend to use the watch as your primary phone instead of pairing it with a phone, the cellular function of the watch will quickly drain the battery. You're asking this small device on your wrist to perform all the functions of a full-sized phone, which has a much larger battery and more space for efficient cellular service.

Other features, like tracking a run, ride, or workout, are meant to be used in a "normal" exercise cycle, such as 30-60 minutes of activity. Longer use is possible but will draw continuously on the battery.

We now offer an Apple Watch power bank case that can charge your Apple Watch anytime. It's lightweight, matches your Apple Watch perfectly, and doesn't interfere with its operation.
